There have been a few changes to the refund policy to be more flexible in the event that we have another closure or the restrictions put on by the government do not suit your child's interests.

Refunds will be issued on a pro-rated schedule based on a full season, with a processing fee (to cover fees associated with payment and returns for credit card users) assessed prior to prorating. No refunds will be considered after December 15th, unless due to injury, relocation outside the association boundaries or unusual circumstances (Covid or other government enforced closures)determined by the Executive.

We have removed the mandatory $25 tournament fee from registration as we are unsure at this time if we will be able to hold a tournament.  In the event we are able to host a tournament the $25 tournament fee will be mandatory and collected at a later date. 

We have extended the final payment due date to Oct 15 this season to allow families to spread the payments over the next four months, as well as having no fee increase this season in an effort to ease the financial hit to families that may be struggling.  If you are in need of a longer time etc please contact the executive to allow us to work with you as we do not want to have anyone miss out on this upcoming season.

Payment Information:

New this season, Hinton Ringette will be accepting e-transfer along with Credit Card payment.  E-transfers can be emailed to hra.treas@gmail.com.  E-transfer password must be "ringette". If sending fees via e-transfer please make sure to type the player name in the comment field. If money is being sent for more than one player please state how the payment should be allocated.

1). Options to pay the entire balance in one lump sum (at checkout, tick the box "I want to pay the full amount right now instead of having upcoming payments" . found below the credit card expiry date). OR Split payments - for early registrations, a deposit (varies per division) will be processed at time of registration and the remainder will be split into 3 equal payments to be processed Aug. 15 and Sept 15 and Oct 15. Active Start returning player deposit is $100 with the final payment on October 15. Split payments are ONLY available to Credit Card Users, a reminder will be sent out to all e-transfer users on the payment days for split payments.

2). If you or anyone you know requires financial aid, in order for their child to participate in the Hinton Ringette Association program, please know that there are several programs available to remove the obstacles of kids participating in ringette. Canadian Tire Jump Start Program- Please visit the Canadian Tire Jumpstart website at http://www.canadiantire.ca/jumpstart/ for further information and details of the program. Contact the registrar if you are applying for any funding programs.

3). Full time goaltenders for U14, U16 and U19 will receive a discount of 50% off of registration fees to offset the cost of equipment as equipment will not be provided by HRA. Please contact the registrar prior to registering for a discount code.

All fees must be paid in full or payment arrangements in place prior to players participating in any on-ice activities.
